Christopher Palmer with his Client Manager Paula and his Personal Assistant Tori
Chris is Hansford Bell’s Managing Director and a Chartered Financial Planner. He has an established client base throughout the Southwest and beyond. He has focused on developing his skills as a Financial life Planner so that he can help his clients live the life they want and never say “if only”.
Outside of work Chris enjoys spending time travelling around Devon and Cornwall in his VW camper and if the sun is out, going for a ride on his motorbike!
Paula works closely with Chris and over the years, she has also built great relationships with his clients. She now provides him with his technical support. Paula enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and is a keen photographer. Tori has recently joined Chris’ team and provides support to both him and his clients. She has recently graduated from Exeter University after being awarded a commendation from the business school and is now looking forward to a career in the financial planning profession. When not at work, Tori enjoys music and attends concerts whenever she can.

Steve is a founding Director of Hansford Bell and a Chartered Financial Planner. He has longstanding clients throughout London, Oxford and the South West. He is a strong advocate of financial life planning and spent many years studying and developing the skills to make a difference to his clients lives.
Steve is a keen sailor and enjoys the occasional evening working on one of his beloved classic vehicles. Becky supports Steve with his clients, alongside her own clients, covering all areas of financial life planning. She is a keen volunteer for a local hospice and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. Gracie is the central coordinator in the team making sure everything is completed professionally and efficiently. Gracie enjoys spending time with her family and also enjoys a fitness lifestyle.
Steve is very approachable, professional and exudes the confidence of someone who has vast experience. He pays attention to detail and always promotes a 'can do' attitude in situations that are complicated or seemingly unfathomable!
Steve is extremely knowledgeable, professional, straight talking and confidence inspiring. Nikki is a founding Director of Hansford Bell, focusing on compliance and running the business. Janine is our Human Resources go to, ensuring the right people are in the right place. Gemma works closely with the Directors and provides compliance support

David is a Financial Planner, living and working in the Cornwall area. David began his career in the banking sector of Financial Services in 1985 and has a passion for working with his clients and helping them to achieve their future financial goals.
Karen has been involved in Financial Services since 2013 and has completed her CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is now working towards her Chartered status. As a Senior Paraplanner, Karen’s role is to assist with research and report writing, utilising her technical knowledge. Karen enjoys exploring and discovering new walks, beaches and pubs with her husand and two terriers!
Nikki supports the team with administration and after living and working in Spain for a number of years, Nikki enjoys cooking and spending time with her family when she is not working.

Ross is a strong believer in utilising Financial Life Planning to identify what is important to his clients and putting together a plan to ensure their goals are achieved. His client focused attitude is a result of working in a number of different roles with Hansford Bell since joining in 2012. He has since progressed to a holistic Financial Planning role and takes great satisfaction from helping his clients to secure a better financial future.
Kate is currently working towards her diploma and is hoping to one day be a planner in her own right. She is currently training for the London marathon, her 1st full marathon. She loves exploring the world and is currently planning a trip to Venice. Debbie has over 20 years’ Administrative experience and has worked for Hansford Bell for 4 years. In her spare time Debbie loves to travel and spends lots of fun times with her two grandchildren.
Emma Jones with her Personal Assistant Chris
Emma is the Head of Commercial and Domestic Finance at Hansford Bell. She started her career in banking and has now been at Hansford Bell for 4 years. Her experience in the profession allows her to offer exceptional service to all of her clients. Emma specialises in offering tailored financial solutions to each of her clients helping them to achieve their goals, whether that be buying their dream home, re-mortgaging their current property, obtaining short term finance or looking assisting business’ with commercial finance . Emma is also fully qualified to offer advice on later life lending and equity release, helping clients in retirement achieve finance they never dreamed was possible.

Chris is Emma’s personal assistant and is currently completing his qualifications and working towards becoming a qualified mortgage adviser. With his exceptional attention to detail, he ensures everything within the mortgage process runs as smoothly as possible. Chris enjoys building relationships with clients and loves seeing a “pipedream” turn into a reality.
Together they strive to make the mortgage process seamless, offering a holistic approach from the first appointment through to completion.
As our Head Receptionist, Lynda manages the team ensuring someone is always available to help clients, whether they come in to the office or call by telephone, a lovely lady who always seems to stay calm in any situation
