Community means more than where we are based. For Hansford Bell, it includes the clients we support, the people we work alongside, the local area around Tavistock, and the wider south-west we are proud to be part of.

It is about building a business that contributes positively, not just professionally.

We’re working towards a better way of doing business

Our ambition is to achieve B Corp status by 2028, reflecting our commitment to building a business with purpose, responsibility, and positive impact at its heart.

It is part of our ongoing work to consider how our decisions affect clients, colleagues, communities, and future generations.

We turn introductions into impact

Many new clients come to us through personal introductions. To support the community we share, we recognise those referrals by giving back to charity for every referral we receive.

The aim is simple: when someone recommends Hansford Bell, that introduction can help create a positive impact beyond the advice relationship.

This year, our chosen charity is St Luke’s Hospice, an independent charity providing specialist advice and support to people with progressive life-limiting illnesses in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall.
