It’s been another exciting month for the Hansford Bell team, with plenty to celebrate and a few opportunities to step away from the office.
Perhaps the biggest news is that we’ve been shortlisted for an award, but we’ve also enjoyed a wine tasting event with some of our local professional connections. At the same time, Chris headed further afield for another industry event.
So, let’s get straight into this month’s update!
We’re incredibly pleased to share that Hansford Bell has been shortlisted for the Retirement Adviser of the Year award at the Moneyfacts Investment Life & Pensions Awards 2026.
Being recognised in this category means a great deal to us, as helping clients prepare for and enjoy retirement is such an important part of what we do.
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to provide a testimonial in support of our entry.
Reading your feedback was incredibly rewarding for the whole team, and we’re very grateful that so many of you were willing to share your experiences.
Of course, we’ll keep you updated as the awards get closer. For now, we’re simply delighted to have made the shortlist.
We also recently spent an evening enjoying a wine tasting event with a local firm, GA Solicitors, at Le Vignoble in Plymouth.
Aside from giving us the chance to try a few different wines, it was a lovely opportunity to catch up in a more relaxed setting and strengthen our working relationship.
Having strong connections with other professionals can be incredibly valuable when supporting you.
We had a brilliant evening and would like to thank everyone involved for making it such an enjoyable event.
Finally, Chris recently attended the Richmond PIMS event, which brings together owners and leaders from financial planning businesses.
The event offered a chance to step away from the day-to-day running of the business, hear how other firms are approaching common challenges, and discuss new ideas with people from across the profession.
These conversations are always useful because they encourage us to look carefully at how we operate and consider where we could make the experience even better for you.
In the meantime, if you’d like some help managing your finances, please call us on 01822 617 960, email info@hansfordbell.co.uk, or fill in our online contact form, and we’ll be in touch.
