  • Cert CII (AMA) - Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice

    The level 4 Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice goes above and beyond the FCA’s minimum qualification requirements, enabling mortgage advisers to expand their advice capabilities and advise clients with complex needs and circumstances.

  • R01 - Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including regulation, legislation and the Code of Ethics.

  • CF6 - Mortgage Advice

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK regulation environment in the financial services industry, mortgage products, repayment options and the giving of mortgage advice.

  • R07 - Advanced Mortgage Advice

    Advanced Mortgage Advice (R07) develops knowledge and understanding of the key elements of the mortgage process, specialist types of mortgage lending and to test candidates' ability to give appropriate mortgage advice to clients with complex needs and circumstances.

  • CertCII (Life and Pensions) - Certificate in Financial Planning (Life & Pensions route)

    The life and pensions route builds knowledge and understanding of the sector’s role and its activities. It considers important customer needs, solutions and products, and how individuals and organisations work within the regulatory and legislative environment.

  • Cert CII (ER) - Certificate in Equity Release

    The Level 3 Certificate in Equity Release meets the FCA’s requirement for mortgage advisers and those advising on equity release schemes. In addition to developing advisory skills, the Certificate offers an understanding of equity release regulation, products, market practice, and customer needs.

  • Cert CII (MP) - Certificate in Mortgage Advice

    The Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice meets the FCA’s qualification requirements for mortgage advisers. It develops an understanding of the sector and the mortgage process, enabling advisers to meet individual client needs.

  • AdvDipIP - Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning

    This qualification enables professional advisers to develop specialist planning capabilities, covering topics such as personal tax and trust, business financial, pension and investment planning.

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

    This level 4 Diploma meets the FCA's qualification requirements for retail investment advisers and helps candidates to develop core technical knowledge and financial planning capabilities.

Outside of the office, Becky can usually be found at the gym, walking her whippet Ian, or enjoying a trip to the pub. She loves long walks, winter beach days, Sauvignon Blanc, and volunteering at events for St Luke’s Hospice. She has also recently signed up for her first half marathon, despite her disdain for running.

On an ideal weekend, where can we find you?

Taking Ian for a long walk, ideally finishing in a pub with a large Sauvignon Blanc.

Who would be at your dream dinner party?

Cher, Dolly Parton, and Nigella Lawson.

What activity would you win an Olympic medal in?

Drinking wine, although Ian might argue that dog walking should be up there too.

What was your proudest moment as an IFA?

Becoming a director of Hansford Bell.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Seeing the difference good planning makes to people, especially when clients use their financial freedom to enjoy retirement.

Who do you most enjoy working with?

Clients who are open and honest, ask good questions, and want clear guidance from a planning journey that feels supportive rather than stressful.
